Die Unterstützung für eine zusätzliche Anzeige auf der Außenseite von Notebooks hat Microsoft von Auxiliary Display in Windows SideShow umbenannt. SideShow unterstützt Gadgets genannte Mini-Anwendungen, die auch bei ausgeschaltetem Computer Arbeit verrichten sollen.
